Prof. Dr. Sameer Phanse

Dr. Sameer Phanse is a Management Consultant, with more than 30 years experience in consultancy, research and strategy. He is presently writing a book on “applied logic” for sage publications. He shares his practical insights with academia as a visiting faculty for research courses and has designed and taught research course-work for the PhD degree of various prominent national universities. Dr. Phanse’s work comprises business and social research. He has consulted Indian as well as international corporates, semi-government organizations as well as academic institutions including premier international schools. His model based on game-theory increases the chances of victory for a party or a candidate. His model was tested in the actual Indian state assembly election in 2009 for which he was awarded a PhD. Dr. Phanse has a passion for learning & teaching. He writes and speaks professionally, and has been associated with editorial boards of national and international journals. His book “Research Methodology: Logic, Methods and Cases”, (2016), Oxford University, received critical acclaim in top quarters including IIM Ahmedabad’s “Vikalpa” journal as well as the “The Economic and Political Weekly (EPW)”, a peer-reviewed academic journal globally reputed for excellence in independent scholarship and critical inquiry. His research papers have been published in national and international journals, conference proceedings, and he has won top awards at research seminars. He is currently faculty at GNIMS, Matunga, Mumbai. Dr. Phanse is a Ph.D. (Management), MBA (Marketing) and B.E. (Electronics). He is interested in the philosophy of science, and has a profound regard for spirituality. Dr. Phanse resides in Thane, near Mumbai along with his wife Dr. Mohini, a medical professional and a college going son.
