Biography

Jayant Brahmane is a Fellow of the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE, now IIM Mumbai), FIE – NITIE, and holds a B.Tech in Petrochemicals from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Maharashtra. He brings over two decades of professional experience in senior management roles across Operations and Marketing with leading organizations such as Pidilite Industries, Atul Ltd., and Connell Bros. India Ltd. In addition, he has more than seven years of academic experience and He is presently an Associate Professor and recognized Ph.D. Guide (University of Mumbai) at SGPC's Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

He is the holder of 11 patents and has published over 65 research papers in reputed Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and ProQuest indexed journals. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences and was honored with the ‘Best Innovator Award’ at Pidilite Industries.

Dr. Brahmane has a strong interest in analytics and holds an APICS BSCM (USA) certification. He actively mentors research scholars in statistical analysis using SPSS and structural modeling with AMOS. He has a proven passion for quality management, with hands-on experience in ISO 9000:2015 implementation at the corporate level.

His research interests include work study and method study, data-driven decision making, organizational business capabilities, applied probabilistic modeling and statistics, and new product & service development.
