Biography

Dr. Jasbir Kaur, Incharge Director (GNIMS Business School) and Head - IT and  HR (GNIMS & GNIMS B School) is an accomplished Academic Professional with over 30 years of experience. A Ph.D. in Computer Science from Mumbai University, Masters in Software Systems from BITS Pilani, M.Phil. (Information Technology), M.Sc. Economics (Hons.), PGDCA in Computer Applications & Econometrics are few of the academic accolades along with Patents in Fintech and Artificial Intelligence and being Editor at SAN International for publishing the book titled "Recent Trends in Business Management and Social Sciences" with ISBN: 978-81-970457-8-3. 

Driven by a commitment to continuous learning, she has completed various additional courses, including an IBM Data Science certification, Human Computer Interaction Course from IIT-Mumbai, RFID and Automation System from Siemens, ISTE approved Cyber Security to mention a few.

Dr. Jasbir Kaur has made noteworthy research contributions, with 26 research publications in UGC CARE Listed and Scopus-indexed journals, focusing on diverse areas such as Cyber-Physical Systems and Blockchain Technology , AI & Machine Learning in National and International Journals. With a rich academic career, she has held leadership roles at institutions like D.A.V College, Lancer’s Convent, and Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), showcasing her expertise in academic management and innovation. Dr. Jasbir Kaur's practical achievements include the development of projects like an Integrated Cyber-Physical using RFID Technology for Wireless Real Time Intelligent Traffic System (WRTITS) for Road Transportation. 

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she has organized international conferences and received appreciation. Engaged in recent endeavors such as workshops on Machine Learning and Online Teaching, Dr. Jasbir Kaur remains a stalwart in the dynamic realm of Computer Science and Information Technology, emphasizing her expertise in Academic and Management roles.
