Overview

How are Executive MBA programs different than the normal two years full-time MBA programs? The answer is that they are structured in a tailored fashion to suit the working company managers and executives. These working executives and the faculty, who are also senior working executives from industry, bring their experience to the classroom and a knowledge sharing takes place. Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies is a branch of G.N. Khalsa College which was established in 1937 by Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) which is located in the educational hub of Mumbai at Matunga (E), Mumbai. At GNIMS, our new Executive MBA program is redesigned with the help of a specially constituted Board of Studies consisting of experienced and seasoned industry champions. The pedagogy of the program includes lectures, workshops seminars, brainstorming sessions and group discussions which foster collaborative studies with peers who come from various industries and diverse functional areas.

The accent is laid on developing leadership in the lecture halls and beyond. The program gives the students an excellent opportunity to develop a network. Students are offered to mentor from industry leaders. Our goals for this program are to demonstrate knowledge of fundamental business disciplines effectively and ethically such as accounting, finance, management, marketing, operations, project management, legal and economic environments; understanding of information systems, analytical techniques, and statistical model development while managing data and to make decisions and to demonstrate an understanding of the global and local business environment. Our EMBA program, which is AICTE approved Course, consists of 4 Terms, which offers highly interactive learning for executives based on empirical learning which uses realistic team-based, problem-solving. The course process will help the students for wrestling with the needs of the modern business world which is technology driven.

• Executive MBA Course is Approved by which body?

Executive MBA is AICTE Govt. Of India (All India Council for Technical Education) Approved Course.

• Is it Mumbai or any University Approved Program?

No.

• Who is eligible for an Executive MBA?

Any Graduate from any stream from UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks. And Minimum 2 years of Work Experience.

• Is E-MBA a distance learning program? Or Physical Classes to be attended?

No. Executive MBA is not a distance learning Program. Nor an On-Line Program. You need to attend the classes held at our Mumbai, Matunga College Campus.

• What is the Program or Course Structure?

It's a 18 Months Part-time. Week End Program (Sat 6 pm – 8:30 pm and Sun 9:30 am to 4:30 pm) The Course consists of 4 Terms of 4 to 5 Months each.

• How can I enroll for an Executive MBA?

Students need to enroll by filling the GNIMS Executive MBA Form. And attach all certificates of 10th,12th, Graduation & Work Experience.

• What is the fee structure?

Admission Process Fees – Rs. 2000/- Total Course Fees -Rs. 115000/- (Offline learning) | Rs. 95000/- (Online learning)

• What is the exam & assessment structure?

40% Internal Assessment. 60% End Term Written Exam.

• Is there study material available for preparing for this examination?

Yes in softcopy format , wherever faculty feels it necessary. Remember this is a post graduate program and we expect students to be taking their own notes too. Also, GNIMS has a well-equipped Library with thousands of books.
