A Warm Welcome: EMBA Batch No. 14 Induction Program

It was the day when Sun rose brightly in the sky and in the life of several enthused students having enrolled to the glorious Executive MBA (EMBA) course of Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies (GNIMS). Due to the heavy response, this batch of young professionals was the 2nd batch registered for the EMBA program with GNIMS during this year and overall 14th Batch. After having refreshing tea, the promising executives to-be, reported to the Seminar Hall where they were to begin their auspicious journey. The host of the program gave a warm welcome to the students on behalf of the entire GNIMS family. Everyone was provided with a Welcome-Kit which involved a handbook comprising of the course details and a bright orange haversack branded with GNIMS logo on it.

The dignitaries present at the function included Dr. Ajit Singh (Director General), Mr. Uday Kale (EMBA Head), Prof. Kiran Yadav, Dr. Satvinder Singh Bedi, Prof. Avinash Khare, and other faculty members. Mr. Ajay Rawal (National Marketing Head, General Manager-Marketing RAYMOND FMCG) was invited as the Chief Guest for this spectacular ceremony. The host invited everyone for the Deep Prajwalan (Lighting Lamp ceremony), a traditional ritual at GNIMS, as she explained the significance of light through a Sanskrit shloka. The program had begun with a prayer song and a divine aura in the auditorium.
Mr. Uday Kale Sir gave a brief introduction of Director General of GNIMS, Dr. Ajit Singh before inviting him on stage. The audience applauded after listening to his achievements and success story – a mind-boggling journey from being a student at the Institute to being its Director General. Dr. Ajit Singh then welcomed the chief guest by giving him a memento as a token of love and affection. He was bestowed with the honor of inaugurating and initiate the induction program by addressing the fresh batch.

Acclaimed with National Award for Marketing Excellence by Times Network and CMO Council and being an Internationally Certified and Licensed NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) expert, Mr. Rawal was asked to share his wisdom with the audience. His passion for helping people recognize their true potential in life was displayed through his enthralling speech at the event. The audience was transfixed at the motivational words uttered through his mouth.
Keynote address by Mr. Uday Kale Sir covered all the intricacies of the program, followed by faculty and student introduction. After satisfying the hunger for wisdom, the Institute provided those present with a sumptuous lunch. Later Ms. Kuljeet Madam guided the students on a tour of the Library and Computer lab. Students were fascinated by looking at the well-equipped infrastructure. The event was concluded with motivated and eager students, ready to discover the Inner Winner as mentioned in Mr. Ajay Rawal Sir’s speech, at the Executive MBA Program of GNIMS.
