It was my immense luck and fortune to be the part of Gurunanak Institute of Management Studies. The entire faculty and department leaves no stone unturned to shape one’s future. My entire journey at GNIMS has been a wonderful experience of learning with prolific exposure to outside. Huge respect, love and devotion for entire faculty members, it’s their efforts that make me to count myself into better professionals. CDC of GNIMS has been a great contributor to the development of my personality. Being a placement committee member (PCM) I have established my leadership, time management and team skills and have also been able to advance these skills to the whole new augment level. Being an engineer it was quite challenging to cope up with core accounting/finance concepts but due to experienced and professional teaching staff I came across accounting is a clerical term while financing is an intellectual term. Due to strong support and personal assistance by the staff my journey was so full of beans that from an engineer I became competent finance student. Thank you GNIMS.

The whole journey that started in February, 2021 has moulded my life from a student to a professional. This would have been impossible without the guidance, care and nurture of our proficient faculty, without their endeavors, my MBA life is rather incomplete. With sheer knowledge and experience in their respective domain, our professors managed to bridge the gap between theory and practical aspects of management. One of the crucial support systems in my transformation was Career Development Cell. Lastly, I would thank all the faculty, non-teaching staff and IT team for being cooperative and available even in pandemic for any technical issues we faced. The best part of my life at GNIMS was the fun moments I had with my classmates. I got acquainted with so many different personalities, built a connection with them, learned something new each day. Time flies over us but it always leaves its shadow behind. I will always cherish this shadow in the form of memories. Thank you GNIMS.

I still remember the day when I first joined GNIMS with a goal to complete Masters in HR, to gain knowledge and skills and most importantly, to get a job. Now after almost two years in this beautiful family I have gained sufficient knowledge and skills which also helped me in getting a job along with the support of all the faculty members and Career Development Cell. Especially the employability skills course, personality development skill tests and seminar and webinars given by the different professionals from corporate guided me in the right direction. As a placement committee member, I also learned management skills from a practical standpoint. Last but not the least I would like to thank everyone who helped me in my unforgettable journey.

The journey of two years in this Incredible Institute GNIMS was wonderful where you could learn and explore various things. The faculties bring a lot of experience from both Industry and Academia, developing the ability to ground the lessons and concepts in real world with lots of practical applications. They made sure that I am well advanced in my career. Placement assistant in the Institute is commendable as they provide efficient Pre Placement Training to all the Students just to make us competent enough to face the tough and competitive World out there.

Knowing nothing at all and having a limited narrow-minded thinking, we started this journey, from the induction program conducted at the start of the course to the Internship projects which we created using the techniques and strategies taught to us by our mentors and faculty, we were evolving, constantly gaining knowledge and getting first hand experiences through the activities conducted. Although, we were kind of unfortunate, that during almost half the period of the course, the pandemic was existing, but the quality was never affected. Thank you to the CDC team which arranged personality development sessions to make sure not just the academics, but all-round growth was happening in the students, working with high efforts to make sure every student gets the opportunity to get the industry knowledge necessary, through internship placements and then the final. I am honoured to be a part of such a great institution. Once again thank you for such great memories.

GNIMS is place where we have not only studied but also built our personality, we learned how to solve problems not only in subjects but also in corporates. I have gained good knowledge of both banking and financial services industry, that is the reason we are now placed in one of the finest banks in India and we are also working successfully today.

As a student of GNIMS Business School, I am grateful for the excellent education and opportunities that I received during my time there. The BFSI course provided in-depth knowledge of banking and finance that has been invaluable in my career. I attribute my success to the excellent faculty at GNIMS.
